Botany Walk and Talk
Are you keen gardener or interested in finding out what plant life is growing in your local green spaces?
Join plant expert Gerry Firkins for a stroll around the historic grounds and Sheffield Manor Lodge and explore your landscape! Gerry is a local botanist and has led field meetings for Sheffield University, WEA and the RSPB since the 1980s. He has also taught plant ID for several years and assisted in the preparation of the 'Flora of Sheffield'
Your ticket includes:
- a gentle tour of plant life growing at Sheffield Manor Lodge lasting approximately 1.5 hours.
- Opportunities to get hands on with plant life
- A hot/cold at the Discovery Centre and light snack (this can be enjoyed on or after your stroll)
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the event start time to allow for checking in.
