Join plant expert Gerry Firkins for a stroll around the historic grounds and Sheffield Manor Lodge and explore your landscape! Gerry is a local botanist and has led field meetings for Sheffield University, WEA and the RSPB since the 1980s. He has also taught plant ID for several years and assisted in the preparation of the 'Flora of Sheffield'
Your ticket includes:
- a gentle tour of plant life growing at Sheffield Manor Lodge lasting approximately an hour and a half.
- Opportunities to get hands on with plant life. Gerry will also be on hand to answer your flora queries.
- A free tea or coffee at the Discovery Centre (this can be enjoyed on or after your stroll)
